Pulled Chicken Harissa Rolls with a Hellmann's Herby Mayo Dip

Ingredients

Pulled Chicken Harissa Rolls

  • 1 1/2 cups chicken, shredded

  • 2 tablespoons harissa

  • 1/4 cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 8 egg roll wrappers

  • Neutral oil, for frying

Hellmann's Herby Mayonnaise Dip

  • 1/2 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup cilantro, finely chopped

  • 1/2 of a jalapeño, finely diced

  • Half of a lime, juiced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Step 1

    Place shredded chicken, Hellmann's mayonnaise, cream cheese, harissa, green onion, salt and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Mix well.

  • Step 2

    Place egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with corner facing you. Wet edges of wrapper with water. Add two tablespoons chicken mixture to middle of roll. Fold bottom on top of mixture, fold left side over, fold right side over and then roll up. Repeat until remaining mixture is used up. Set aside on a clean plate or tray.

  • Step 3

    Preheat oven to 450ºF. Meanwhile heat up neutral oil to 350ºF in a large heavy-bottomed pot (oil should be 3 inches deep, enough to shallow fry).

  • Step 4

    Fry rolls for 2 minutes turning to brown evenly. Remove onto paper towel-lined plate and let drain. Place on parchment paper-lined baking tray and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Remove and serve with Hellmann's herby mayonnaise dip!

    Combine the Hellmann's mayonnaise, parsley, cilantro, jalapeño, lime and garlic in a medium bowl, mix well, taste for seasoning and set aside.
