Craig’s Cookies food truck serves sweet treats with a side of Pride

The only thing better than going out to buy cookies is having the cookies come to you. Fully aware of this fact, Craig’s Cookies is launching its first cookie food truck this fall. Hitting the road this October, the Craig’s Cookies Food Truck will be bringing the company’s über-popular, homestyle treats to locations around the city.

Established in 2013, Craig’s Cookies has grown into a mini empire founded on owner Craig Pike’s mom’s chocolate chip cookie recipe. It’s a recipe that Pike made infinitely more decadent with add-ins, ranging from sprinkles and gummies to chocolate, caramel, pie, and more. The type of cookies you dreamed your mom would make when you were a tot, Craig’s Cookies tug at nostalgia as they sate sweet teeth across the city. A company built on inclusivity, love, and Pride, each cookie also promotes founder Pike’s feel-good principles.

Designed to look like one of the company’s iconic pink boxes, Craig’s Cookies Food Truck is as eye-catching as it is heart-warming. “What’s exciting about this food truck is that we can bring our cookies to communities that didn’t have access to them before,” said Pike, in a press release. “We’re going beyond downtown Toronto, reaching communities throughout Ontario where folks may not be able to travel to the city regularly. It’s a big milestone for the company, and it’s an opportunity to spread our message of acceptance and diversity to an even wider audience.”

Offering a rotating menu of treats, Craig’s Cookies Food Truck will soon be found selling cookies around the city. The truck will also be available for rent for special events. For $2000, customers will have access to two bakers serving up 15 dozen cookies from Craig’s Cookies Food Truck for two hours. Need more sugar? Additional time, bakers, and cookies are available upon request.

Want a first glimpse of Toronto’s newest food truck? To celebrate the launch, Craig’s Cookies bubble-gum pink box on wheels will be stationed outside Trinity Bellwoods Park on Friday, September 30 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Grab a free cookie, chat to founder Craig Pike, and learn how you can wow guests at your next event with Canada’s favourite cookies.
