Paradise Grotto is Toronto's newest hidden oasis

Step into a tiki bar experience at one of Toronto's newest restaurants, Paradise Grotto. After a summer of day parties and insta-worthy moments on the patio, Paradise Grotto has established itself as a go-to restaurant to transport you to an island oasis right in the middle of the city.

With a long list of innovative and visually stunning cocktails to choose from, Paradise Grotto is a great atmosphere for anything from after-work drinks with coworkers to a fun date night outing. The patio brings the vibes with large tropical plants in every corner and disco balls and lights to set the mood when the sun sets.

The daily happy hour until 6 p.m. features affordable drink options such as $5 coolers and beers and $10 daiquiris. Their food menu features Polynesian cuisine, offering a great selection of both shareable plates and mains. Some popular trending food items are their paradise fries, yaki skewers and the coconut shrimp. Other notable dishes include spam musubi, katsu curry and even an entire chicken brined for 48 hours.

The groovy atmosphere of Paradise Grotto has been established as a great event space in the downtown area. Every Sunday over the summer the outdoor patio featured guest DJ's in what was advertised as their "Sundays in Paradise" event. The final Sundays in Paradise will be happening on Sunday, Sept. 17. The first-come-first-serve event will take place from 3 p.m.-9 p.m. rain or shine.

Take a break from the bustling noise of the city and join the tropical fun at Paradise Grotto located at 270 Adelaide St. W.
