Popular burger joint opens new downtown location

One of Toronto's up-and-coming burger joints has opened a second location in downtown Toronto.

Rosie's Burgers is a spot known for their simple menu consisting of smashed burgers, fries and shakes. After having been open for barely a year in the Port Credit neighbourhood of Mississauga, they are already expanding with their first downtown location.  They revealed their new digs on Queen West over the long weekend.

Their location in Port Credit was so popular that there were consistently lineups throughout the weekends. They were considered one of the best new burgers of 2020 and had people swarming from all across the GTA pining for a taste.

The menu here is simple: smashed burgers, fries and milkshakes. They offer your choice of single or double patties and also have Beyond burgers as well for a vegetarian option. All the burgers are smashed thin and come with cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles and their house sauce. They have classic crispy fries that you can get in a poutine as well. The shakes here come in the three classic flavours of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate.

Rosie's Burgers can be found at 573 Queen Street West at the corner of Queen and Portland Streets. Their soft opening hours will be daily from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hours may change, but check out their social media for any updates.  They'll be running specials throughout this time so be sure to check often.
