Bobbette & Belle announces reopening date

Just in time for wedding season (or the socially-distanced Zoom ceremonies destined to replace it), Bobbette & Belle recently announced on Instagram that they’ll be reopening the doors of both their retail locations on June 9, 2020.

A business originally founded on macarons, it’s no wonder that Bobbette & Belle is one of the city’s daintiest spots for exquisite pastries. Opened in Leslieville in 2010 by cake decorator Allyson Bobbitt and pastry chef Sarah Bell, the bakery’s cupcakes, cookies, house-made marshmallows, signature macarons and more led to a huge following, a second location on Yonge St., and a book deal. Alongside the team’s everyday treats, their ability to transform any whim into a photo-ready celebration cake, whether for a lavish wedding, special birthday or other major life event, have made them a household name for all things pastry.

Closed since mid-March due to Ontario’s state of emergency, Bobbette & Belle is finally reopening for pickups, deliveries and special orders this month. Though seating areas at both stores must remain closed for now, the shops will be stocked with plenty of sweets perfect for enjoying at home. Just plan to arrive early as the café’s will now operate with limited hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
