Coast is Toronto’s newest, delivery-only dining brand

Launched on October 1, Coast is the newest venture from famed local chef Matt Dean Pettit, of Rock Lobster fame. The delivery-only, surf and turf brand is dishing up a menu of seafood-heavy fare along with smash burgers and other Insta-worthy eats.

Anyone in Toronto with an appetite for fish, mollusks and the like is familiar with Matt Dean Pettit. The chef and owner of the city’s now-shuttered Rock Lobster restaurants, a Food Network regular and cookbook author, is one of Toronto’s leading seafood experts.

Operating out of a ghost kitchen, Coast offers a menu filled with the type of dishes that made chef Pettit’s name. From the famous lobster roll to lobster poutine, a lobster surf and turf burger to Rock Lobster’s award-winning lobster Caesar kit, the dishes on offer at Coast are a recognizable group of familiar favourites.

Available for delivery from Tuesday to Sunday from Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes, Coast’s menu is on offer from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., or until it's sold out.

If, after perusing the menu and salivating at pictures of Coast’s gorgeous dishes, you still need a reason to order, you’ll be happy to know that Coast will donate a meal to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank for every order over $40.
