Culinary Adventure Company delivers curated neighbourhood food guides in a box

City food guides are synonymous with traipsing around various neighbourhoods; popping into as many bars, restaurants, shops and hidden gems as possible. Food tours are an excellent way to get a glimpse into the culinary world of an unfamiliar city or neighbourhood, allowing you to try cuisine from spots you may not have otherwise.

As COVID-19 continues to reshape our day to day lives, businesses across the board have been forced to readjust operations. As restaurants slowly transition to takeout only, one might wonder how, or even if it is possible for local food tours to stay afloat. Well, apparently there is a way to explore the many facets of this extremely diverse city, all from the comfort of your own couch.

Culinary Adventure Company, a local food tour business, has launched a new initiative to bring consumers a taste of Toronto delicacies. Their "Bite Against COVID-19" initiative introduces a wide selection of curated items selected to represent various Toronto neighbourhoods. Boxes are available for delivery in and around the GTA and also include a gift certificate for $50 to use towards one of their food tours once physical distancing becomes less restrictive.

The Chinatown and Kensington Market food tour in a box includes BBQ pork buns, charcuterie from Sanagan's Meat Locker, CXBO chocolates and many other surprises!

The St. Lawrence Market food tour in a box includes all of your favourite treats from the market in order to support vendors in these difficult times.
