Big Trouble Pizza is bringing back their smash burgers today, Sept. 27, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. or until they sell out, whichever comes first.
After officially closing their original location on Spadina Avenue a month ago, with plans to relocate into a bigger space along Geary Avenue in November, the team took a much-deserved break and recently announced the return of their infamous smash burgers via a pop-up at Bar Ape.
Located just off of St. Clair Avenue West on Rushton Road, Bar Ape also announced their annual closure for the season, having their last day of service yesterday. Since they'll be present Monday for the Big Trouble Pizza burger pop-up, there's a possibility that they may bring out the gelato too.
Although their doors will be closed for weekly gelato sales, you'll want to keep an eye on their Instagram for their online drops. Speaking of which, Bar Ape isn't fully going into hibernation just yet, with an online drop for cornettos happening this week. Pro tip: they sell out fast, so be sure to order right as they're released!
