Following the success of the Burger Drops box, TasteToronto is now partnering up with Gertie's to create two limited-edition peanut butter pies for sale through the Dabble platform. 

Our second featured vendor is Ryan Campbell, the famed chef and owner of the celebrated Il Covo, and the co-mastermind behind Toronto’s first and only peanut butter pie. The project, titled ‘Gertie’s’ after his mother Gerda, was launched at the beginning of this year and has been met with rave reviews.

For this exclusive pop-up experience, Gertie’s is offering not one––but two specialty, one-of-a-kind peanut butter pies.

The pies will feature the standard base of Campbell’s celebrated pies: a graham wheat and peanut crust, a generous heap of peanut butter mousse, soft-whipped mascarpone cream and topped honey-roasted peanuts.

For this Dabble event, Gertie’s has prepared two new flavour options––a gorgeous wildflower honey filling from Osprey Bluffs and a gushing peanut caramel that oozes upon slicing.

Orders will be available in a two-pack, which includes one of each flavour.
