There’s good news in the GTA for those craving sweet spaghetti and “crispylicious” fried chicken. A fourth location of Jollibee, the Filipino fast-food chain that inspired epic lineups when it first opened in Toronto, is set to open a new location in Brampton this fall.
The largest fast-food chain in the Philippines, with more than 1,000 locations worldwide, Jollibee first opened in Canada with a branch in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2016. Toronto's first Jollibee restaurant opened in 2018, at Kennedy Road and Highway 401. Since then, two more locations of the chain have opened in the GTA.
The newest addition to the local Jollibee collection will be located at Bramalea City Centre and is expected to open this fall. Construction on the 4000-square-foot space is scheduled to start June 8, 2020 and will be undertaken by BUILD IT By Design.
Currently, you can get Jollibee’s crowd-pleasing mango pies and buckets of chicken through in-store pickup and delivery through DoorDash. Here’s hoping we’ll be free to line up, socially-distant-style, come September.
