To use the program, simply look for the green shelf label in-store, scan a product’s barcode using the My Metro app, or use the custom search filters on Metro Online Grocery.

My Health My Choices is the first of its kind in Canada, designed in collaboration with a team of nutritionists and partners, including Fairtrade, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Celiac Association and the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation.

The program was born out of a growing concern from Ontario consumers, with a vast majority (80%) believing it’s important for their grocery store to help them make choices related to their health. Further, specific lifestyle dietary options have tripled in less than three years with dietary lifestyles like keto and paleo becoming trending topics.

So whether you’re following a plant-based diet or simply looking to add more organic ingredients to your plate, Metro has got you covered.

You can find more details about program attributes on the My Health My Choices webpage, as well as recipes that inspire you to use ingredients in ways you may not have considered before!
