Nadège baking kits let you play patissier at home

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Nadège has launched a line of baking kits designed to help even novice bakers create French-patisserie perfection in their own homes. Perfect for a family baking session, the kits are meant to guide learners through the steps necessary to make Nadège’s award-winning baked goodies at home.

After closing their stores in March due to Covid-19, Nadège opened their online store in April to make their baked goods, cakes, confections and fresh market boxes available to their legions of local fans. On May 5th, the patisserie announced the addition of three baking kits based on Chef Nadège’s signature collection to their online selections. All are available for delivery or curbside pickup at their Queen West location and range in price from $35 to $60. The first baking kit consists of macaron mix and a recipe for chocolate filling. A gourmet cookies kit, with recipes for chocolate and granola cookies, and a madeleine kit are also on offer. Prior to ordering, customers are encouraged to ensure that they have the additional ingredients and equipment required to complete each recipe at home.

Still, if bowls of sticky dough, a flour-splattered kitchen and the possibility of failure don’t sound like your family’s path to bliss, Nadège’s baked offerings are a safer, albeit less adventurous, bet.
