Patois, a hip Caribbean-Asian soul food joint located between Chinatown and Trinity Bellwoods just announced that they are making deliveries to several GTA locations.
The restaurant had introduced food packages a few weeks back but only serviced a small kilometre radius. Patois' Heat n' Serve Care Packages allow customers to enjoy flavour-packed fusion food in the convenience of their own homes. The packages include Patois' classic dishes and contain enough food for a feast (with plenty of leftovers).

For those residing outside of Patois' delivery zone, the just announced "delivery tour" is the perfect solution to receive a much missed meal from the Toronto institution. Patois is delivering in and around the GTA, including Scarborough, Vaughn, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham and Pickering/Ajax. Check out their Instagram page or website for exact dates. It is first come, first serve with limited availability; a one-day event for each area with no other dates announced -- so act fast!
Food in each care package is fully cooked and chilled. Food is neatly packed with detailed instructions for oven and microwave reheating. Patois is selling a full pack at $149 and a half pack at $85, which includes menu items such as their Jamaican curry black tiger shrimp and potato, juicy jerk chicken, oxtail, kimchi brussel sprouts and Asian pear, to name a few. Customers can also choose feature add-ons, such as their Beach Shack Lobster Thermidor, a double stuffed 1 ¾ lb. lobster (feature add-ons are subject to change). Patois is also among the restaurants offering make-at-home cocktail kits. Their current two feature kits are their Patois Rum Punch Kit in two varieties.

Delivery windows may be selected between the hours of 12 p.m. -6 p.m. each day and Patois staff will try to deliver as close to the selected time as possible.
It is great to see how restaurants are adapting to the current situation and how they have managed to come up with innovative ways to serve customers and keep as many of their cooks and servers employed during this time.
