You have most likely walked past a Pi Co. on your commute to work or on your weekend stroll around the city. The popular Neapolitan style pizza spot has gained success in Toronto by providing build-your-own pies for their customers. Owners Marc Askenasi and Sam Hazan had a vision to grow their franchise, providing delicious pizza to inhabitants of Toronto’s unique neighbourhoods. Their expansion has been nothing short of remarkable.

You can find this pizza spot in Toronto’s PATH, The Annex, The Danforth and Yorkville. Their 17th location (and counting) at 687 St. Clair Ave West is set to have their grand opening on February 4th at noon. Askenasi and Hazan are anticipating opening another east end location at Church and Carlton in the coming weeks. Their success has allowed them to open locations beyond Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area. Currently, there are locations in Kitchener, Hamilton, Ottawa and Saskatoon. These fearless entrepreneurs are  prepping for their second Ottawa location at 170 Metcalfe Street in the next few months.

Pi Co. understands the difference quality ingredients make. With countless topping combinations there is room for so much creativity when it comes to making your own pie. If you are feeling something lighter try making a customizable salad with over 60 toppings to choose from. You can also opt for one of their smaller bites which includes items like flatbreads or caprese salad. Pi Co. also carries a gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions. If you have a sweet tooth, fear not, Pi Co. makes Sweet Pi’s. You can fill your dough with toppings such as your favourite candy bars or Nutella.
