Hello Yueh Tung Customers, We appreciate all of your support over the past few weeks. On behalf of our entire team and family we are overwhelmed with gratitude and thank you for standing with us. We are completely committed to doing the right thing for our staff, our customers and our community. That commitment has guided everything we have done over the past few weeks and it will continue to guide everything we do moving forward. We take the safety and well-being of our staff extremely seriously. At this time our employees have decided they feel more comfortable staying home and would like to spend this time with their families. We respect and support this decision. We have closely monitored the situation surrounding COVID-19 and given the continually evolving situation, have decided to close our doors starting Sunday March 29 until further notice. We will continue to keep you updated about our operating hours through our website and Instagram. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces and serving you again soon. In this time of uncertainty, our best defence is to work together and be kind to one another. Stay well and keep safe. We will all get through this together. ❤️ The Liu Family . . . . . . . #covid_19 #covid #covıd19 #torontorestaurants #torontorestaurant #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #toronto #ontario #torontofood #torontofoodie #torontofoodies

The restaurant announced their decision on Instagram saying, "We take the safety and well-being of our staff extremely seriously. At this time our employees have decided they feel more comfortable staying home and would like to spend this time with their families. We respect and support this decision."

As the crisis escalates, it is hard to tell what other establishments will follow suit but takeout and delivery businesses still remain an essential service.

In order to still interact with their customers, the restaurant has introduced a 'Yueh Tung at Home' cooking series on their Instagram, where they will be posted recipes from the restaurant.
