If your pandemic-takeout rotation is starting to feel a little tired, news that Richmond Station is reopening for delivery and takeout this weekend is sure to brighten your day. Helmed by Top Chef Canada season 2 winner Carl Heinrich, Richmond Station has drawn crowds since 2012 with its refined yet homey takes on farm-to-table cuisine.
Like other Toronto restaurants, Richmond Station was forced to close in March due to Ontario’s state of emergency caused by COVID-19. Since then, the restaurant’s staff has devoted time and social media space to helping local charities and foundations, such as The Stop and Save Hospitality, through donations of food as well as raising funds and awareness.
Last week on Instagram, the restaurant announced the upcoming launch of Richmond Station takeout and delivery seven days a week from 5-9 p.m. The menu on offer mixes tried-and-true favourites, including the STN Burger and the restaurant’s popular quinoa salad, alongside new dishes such as a Spiced Chickpea Burger garnished with cheese, chili and coriander mayo and tamarind chutney.
Available starting Sunday, June 28, takeout can be ordered directly through the restaurant or through Ritual. For delivery, order through Uber Eats.
