If you want to taste the purest water on earth, your chance has finally arrived with the launch of rök Glacier Water.

Ontario is the second province in Canada -- after Alberta earlier this year, to get access to one of the most unique water brands in the world. Rök Glacier Water is sustainably sourced from a glacial stream nestled within Canada’s legendary Rocky Mountain range. This stream flows from a rock glacier buried deep beneath the earth’s surface that has remained untouched by natural disasters and pollutants for thousands of years. Rök Glacier Water deems they have discovered the purest water on earth.

Rök's water is the only rock glacier water available for purchase anywhere on earth and is also one of the only water products available to consumers in an environmentally-friendly canned format. All of the rök packaging is recyclable. The cans are made from 95-100% recycled content aluminum, which is infinitely recyclable and rök's can collars are made from 100% recycled cardboard and are 100% biodegradable.

Rök's source of water is located at Alberta's famed Fortress Mountain Resort, which is depicted as the backdrop in movies like Inception, Jumanji 2 and The Bourne Legacy. What makes this partnership with rök Glacier Water and the resort special is that revenues from the beverages' sales will be used as part of a sustainable solution to fund the redevelopment of the historic ski resort. This is well needed because most ski resorts usually rely on real estate sales to fund operations.

Rök Glacier Water is also used as the high-quality base for local brews from Rapid Ascent Brewing. Brews from Rapid Ascent are known as Alberta's signature beer, which will launch this spring in three varieties: rök Blonde, rök Devil's Gulch IPA and rök Sorcerer Raspberry Ale. Distribution throughout Ontario is also underway for later this year and we will see the addition of rök beers and other specialty beverages.

Rök Glacier Water is now available in both spring and sparkling form at Rabba Fine Foods and Little Short Stop Stores in the Greater Toronto Area and throughout southwest Ontario, at 60+ locations. For more information, visit rök Glacier Water's website.
