Roselle's caramel filled kouign-amann is back for a limited time

Back by insane demand; Roselle's caramel filled kouign-amann is available this weekend and into next week. Kouign-amann is known as a Breton cake, which is a dense but delicate multi-layered pastry containing folded in layers of sugar and butter -- it is then baked until the sugar on the outside has caramelized. This limited edition filled kouign-amann is as delicious as it looks -- guaranteed to sell out -- so bundle up, and go indulge.

Roselle

Roselle is Toronto's version of a modern-day love story; two chefs fell in love while working at Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris and realized they wanted to share what they had learned and most importantly share, what they love to eat. Stephanie Duong and Bruce Lee opened their first location on King East back in 2015, and with all the excitement brought on by their baking, the couple opened up a Queen West location back in the summer of 2019.

Roselle carries an extensive pastry collection complete with cakes, tarts, cookies and eclairs. This modern French-inspired pastry shop continues to release limited edition treats to corral the masses, but only time will tell what the next feature will be.
