The Food Dudes launch House Party, a catering concept for small events

Founded in 2007 as a catering company, The Food Dudes is going back to its roots with a creative catering concept for a pandemic-altered world. Designed for small, even socially-distant groups, House Party allows for a shared experience centred around food made by one of the city’s most popular food service companies.

In its 13 years of business, The Food Dudes has become a name that Toronto knows well thanks to a broad repertoire of globally-inspired dishes imbued with addictive flavours. Created by executive chef Adrian Niman, The Food Dudes empire now encompasses several restaurant concepts, including fan-favourites Rasa and Blondies Pizza, a food truck and a host of catering options.

Announced on Instagram on June 11, House Party -- The Food Dudes newest endeavour -- brings years of experience catering weddings and large corporate events into your home. Developed with virtual and small events in mind, the idea is to allow friends, families and colleagues to connect through a shared experience of food. Available for a minimum of eight diners, either together or at separate locations, House Party delivers a set menu to everyone in the party. Customizable food kits, from food stations and plated meals to sweet confections, include instructional guidelines on how to prepare every morsel. With vegan as well as gluten- and dairy-free options, there’s something for everyone in your party to enjoy.
