When nocturnal cookie cravings hit, it’s nice to know you have options beyond pulling out the flour and donning your cutest apron. Midnight Cookie is the late-night cookie delivery service that’s been sating cravings since last spring. On Friday, the business is moving into a new commercial space that will allow for more cookies, a wider delivery area and even more happy customers.

Founded by Emily Banks earlier this year, Midnight Cookie was launched as a response to the dearth of delectable delivery options available in the wee hours of the night. Banks created a company devoted to bringing customers made-to-order, warm cookies from 8 p.m. until late.

As of Friday, sporting a new logo, the Midnight Cookie team will join a group of vendors at East York Eats, a commercial space at 858 Eglinton Ave. E. Opened in June, the space is shared with other businesses, including Conspiracy Pizza, Churnt Up and PhamilyEats. The larger kitchen will give Midnight Cookie the opportunity to bake more treats and expand to more areas across Toronto for delivery. Eventually, there will also be a pick-up counter where customers will find warm cookies along with a variety of milk options to wash them down.

Midnight Cookie will be offering the same gooey assortment of cookies from its new location -- from white chocolate sprinkle and peanut butter cup to Caramilk -- with double chocolate chunk and "just the dough" cookies joining the lineup. Customers can use the discount code “CELEBRATE” to receive 10 per cent off of their orders this Friday and Saturday.

Along with the new space, the team will also debut a website on October 22. Orders will now be available through the website, at www.midnightcookie.ca, as well as through Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes.

"We can't wait to connect with new people and see where this new space takes us," says Banks. With warm, freshly-baked cookies delivered in an hour, Midnight Cookie seems poised to become a go-to for sweet-toothed night owls all over the city.
