Ayushi and Anushka, two sisters from the Queen West area, have started a home business for fusion dips called 'Dunk In Dip'. They felt that dips have been underrated for far too long and wanted to give it the recognition it deserved.
While growing up, the sisters hosted many gatherings with their family serving homemade 'chutneys' that were a crowd pleaser and soon decided to experiment with dip recipes. The flavours are inspired by the places they've travelled across the globe, but putting their own twist on them by using Indian masalas.
Their motto behind the dips creation is to "experience the world while staying true to your roots." Dunk In Dip is growing their menu and want to bring you ranges from sweet to extra spicy dips, as well as vegan options.
They've recreated a classic Indian chutney and Kachumber Salad (Indian cucumber salad) into a cilantro lime dip garnished with herbs, spices and crushed potato chips. It's called the 'Desi Dip', inspired by their childhood memories. Our mushroom lovers have the 'Take it Cheesy' dip, made with basil ricotta and loaded with garlicky mushrooms. Another classic is the 'Moroccan Harissa Dip' that is made with harissa spice and fava bean. This option can be made vegan upon request.
The dips are based on servings and come in two sizes, the small size serves 2-3 and the larger size serves approximately 5-6 people. They offer delivery days throughout the month and mainly operate through a pick up structure in the Parkdale neighbourhood. Stay updated with their new menu additions on their social media.
