Popular local cafe pops up on the Danforth

Cafe Plenty, a cherished Toronto cafe, just opened a new pop-up market on the Danforth.

Melissa Patterson is the owner of Cafe Plenty, a local Toronto coffee shop that also delves into sandwiches and baked goods. With her sister Jenn, they decided to open a pop-up near Broadview and Danforth Avenues.

Having just opened March 18, this joint venture between Melissa and Jenn have been something in the works for a while. The cafe serves many of the favourites including their popular coffees, teas, and baked goods. They also have 'The Local Pantry', which features local retail items that can be found around the city, all in one spot. Along with that, they will be offering seasonal prepared meals, salads, and soups on a rotating basis.

The pop-up is a new concept for them and is only on for six months, meaning now is your only chance to check it out while it's here. But, with enough support and business, they’re hoping to make it a longer term fixture in the community. You can find them at 138 Danforth Avenue, where they’re open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekend.
