Manitoba is popping up on Queen West.
On April 11 and 12, Travel Manitoba is taking over 938 Queen Street West with Portal to Manitoba a free, immersive pop-up designed to bring the province’s culture, flavours, and natural beauty to Toronto.
At the centre of the experience is an indoor Northern Lights installation, offering a rare, up-close take on one of Canada’s most iconic natural phenomena. From there, guests move through a series of interactive stations that highlight what makes Manitoba a destination worth paying attention to.
On the food side, there will be tastings of Manitoba’s signature honey dill sauce. It’s a regional staple with a loyal following, and for most Torontonians, a first introduction to a food culture that has quietly carved out its own identity.
Guests will also have the chance to win a trip to Manitoba, bringing the experience full circle.

Portal to Manitoba runs April 11 and 12 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at 938 Queen Street West. Admission is free.
