Street Eats Night Market is coming to Toronto

From the same people who brought us the drive-thru Food Truck Festival, Flavours Caribbean Market and Ice Cream Fest comes a new night market that will serve up delicious street eats in Scarborough over Labour Day weekend.

Street Eats Night Market is inspired by street food from across the world, bringing international flavours and influences to a lively and delicious outdoor market. With the success of their two recent food festivals, Street Eats Market wanted to find another way to bring the community together and provide a space for them to enjoy food and drink safely. The market will take place outdoors at the Scarborough Town Centre, free admission for everyone who attends and plenty of unique food options to choose from. Strict social distancing practices will be in effect to ensure the safety of everyone who comes out to sample the street food offerings.

While the official list of food vendors will not be announced until the closer to the date, the market is on the hunt for exciting new concepts to showcase at this event and, hopefully, down the road, at future events. Confirmed vendors include classics like iHalo Krunch, makers of the sky-high charcoal ice cream cones, as well as Tala Filipino cuisine and Gogi Korean fried chicken. Keep your eyes peeled for the next round of vendors they announce, as there are sure to be a variety of international flavours to choose from at the market.

Street Eats Night Market will be open on September 5 and 6 from 4-11 p.m., so make sure to stop by for a taste of many different cuisines, desserts and drinks!
