Sunny's Chinese partners with Dabble to deliver a Sichuan-inspired feast

With two wildly successful Dabble experiences under our belt, TasteToronto is partnering up with the revered Sunny’s Chinese to bring a one-of-a-kind, delicious meal to your home.

Our next Dabble vendor is our friends at Sunny’s Chinese, a Toronto-based restaurant pop-up serving up regional Chinese cuisine. Chef David Schwartz, along with sous chefs Braden Chong and Keith Siu, have been dishing out Sichuan and Cantonese-inspired dinner menus since late 2020. Their incredible food, built on traditional Chinese ingredients and classic dishes, has made them one of the most sought-after restaurants in the city.

Their pre-set menus are sent out through a mailing list, and can sell out as quickly as 10 minutes. Now, it’s your turn to get your hands on an exclusive meal from Sunny’s.

For this limited-time Dabble experience, Sunny’s is serving up three specialty dishes that are inspired by the diverse and celebrated cuisine of the Sichuan Province.

On the menu is Sichuan’s most famous street food––Dan Dan noodles, made with sweet bean pork, salted mustard greens and sesame. Next is the revered Zhong Dumplings, filled with pork and cabbage and doused in a vibrant red oil.

The final dish is the Crispy Hidden Chicken, or ‘La Zi Ji’. Hiding beneath an aromatic blanket of heaven-facing chillies and scallions are generously seasoned chicken wings that will leave your lips buzzing.

Every order will also include a jar of Sunny’s house chilli oil––made with a hand-picked curation of traditional Chinese spices and aromatics.

Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind meal. To enhance the experience even more, all orders will be delivered right to your door.

Pre-orders can be placed through the Dabble website and are available in limited quantities.
