Good Behaviour - Queen West
Started by Chef Michael Lam and Eric Chow, who leaned into professional-kitchen chops to build one of the city's most creative ice cream lineups, Good Behaviour has grown from a pandemic side project into a genuine Queen West staple at 335 Queen St. W. The custard-based scoops swap out predictable flavours for things like bourbon pecan and a lemon ricotta Torta Della Nonna with pine nuts and crumbled shortbread - comfort food with a chef's touch.
Ice cream aside, the sub sandwiches earn just as much love, especially the beef brisket, made from scratch with the same care as the desserts. If you're stopping by on a weekday, the 3–5 p.m. Ice Cream Happy Hour brings kiddie scoops down to two bucks - an easy way to work through the menu without committing to a full-size cone.
It's a laid-back, friendly spot that's as good for people-watching on Queen Street as it is for a lunch stop or an afternoon treat.
