A food truck festival is coming to Toronto for Canada Day

Canada Day festivities may be a little different this year, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy some delicious food while watching fireworks light up the night sky!

Food Truck'n Events and Liberty Entertainment Group have partnered up to host a first-of-its-kind socially distanced Food Truck'n Canada Day Festival.

Oh, Canada! We are so excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with @libertygroup to host a 1-day-only Food Truck’N Canada Day Festival on July 1! A first-of-its-kind social distancing event, there’ll be 10 - yes - 10 of Toronto’s best food trucks parked outside the Liberty Grand at Exhibition Place ALL DAY LONG! . . What you need to know: - Takeout and UberEats delivery only - No cash payments - Social distancing of 2m will be strictly enforced - Though not mandatory, masks are strongly encouraged - Licenced patio on site . . The festival will take place this upcoming July 1st at the Liberty Grand inside Exhibition Place from noon to 8 p.m. Admission is absolutely free for all ages.

The food truck festival will feature 10 of Toronto's best food trucks including Jerk Brothers, Busters Sea Cove, Mustache Burger and Funnel Cake Dream. All orders will be packaged for takeout and cash payments will not be accepted. However, there will be a licensed patio and enforced physically distanced picnic areas on site for festival-goers to enjoy their grub.

Though not mandatory, organizers of the event are encouraging everyone to wear masks to ensure the safety of guests and vendors.

If you can't make it to Food Truck'n Canada Day Festival but don't want to miss out on the fun, the event is also offering delivery through Uber Eats! Safe, socially distanced deliciousness -- what's not to love?
