A holiday-themed pop-up is coming to Toronto for the second year in a row

It’s about that time of year again, folks. The holidays are right around the corner, and the team who brought you Let’s Do Summer, and Fall n’ Leaves, are once again gearing up to open Sweaters n’ Snowflakes next month at the southwest corner of Bathurst and Richmond.

The family-friendly pop-up will feature all things holiday-themed, including festive drinks, eats, photo ops and more! To avoid long line-ups, the best way to secure yourself a spot is by purchasing group tickets for their wine tasting or cookie paint nights, where you can either taste your way through a curated selection of world-class wines, or get creative as you paint and decorate your very own ugly sweater cookie!

Upon entry, guests will travel through the brightly lit LED tunnel, transporting them into a winter wonderland! There will be plenty of photo ops to grab holiday shots, and the space will be decked out with fire pits, garlands, candy canes, pine trees and an array of holiday decor to complement the seasonal vibes.

There will be plenty of street food options available, most of which will be cooked fresh on a wood fire bbq pit and wood-fired pizza oven. Though classics like the margherita and pepperoni will be on the menu, the highlight is sure to be the Holiday Pizza Reef, a pizza with a hole cut out in the centre, topped with arugula, cranberries, sweet potato and balsamic reduction.

They will also be introducing their Holiday Dinner Poutine, topped with cheese curds, mushroom gravy, stuffing, cranberry mayo, cranberries, turkey and chives, with the option of having your box served in a festive winter beanie! There will also be potato latkes, giant wood fire turkey legs, bbq ribs and a teriyaki noodle bowl!

For dessert, satisfy your sweet tooth with a Mixed Berry Apple Crumble, some Caramel Filled Candy Cane Churros or the Dessert Poutine, with marshmallow, cinnamon sugar, dark chocolate drizzle, whip cream and gingerbread cookies.

To drink, guests can enjoy classics like the Candy Cane Hot Chocolate or some Mulled Wine, but their holiday-themed cocktails like the Ski Lift Spiked Hot Chocolate, the Gingerbread Whisky Sour and the Mistletoe Moscow Mule will be sure to get you in a celebratory mood.

In addition to their unique cocktails, a variety of red and white wines from regions around the world, as well as a rotating variety of craft, classic and festive beers, will be served.

Some nights will have live acoustic music, and others will see carollers, or a live DJ, turning the wonderland into an outdoor bash! On December 18, the pop-up will be hosting an Ugly Sweater Beer & Food Festival, and on December 19, they will host a Holiday Drag Show starting at 6 p.m., featuring some of the city's fiercest queens.

Looking to a secure a night out for New Year's Eve? The pop-up will be open and hosting a party so that you can dance the night away and ring in the New Year in style. They are also happy to host your outdoor socially distanced events! From office parties to holiday events, Sweaters n' Snowflakes will close their space to the public to give you and your guests free rein to have an iconic evening.

Sweaters n' Snowflakes will be located at 621 Richmond Street and will be open Monday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday through Sunday. To check out their complete offerings this season, make reservations, or book private parties, visit them online or on Instagram.
