A Korean hot dog chain is giving out free hot dogs this weekend

Korea’s leading brand for Korean-style corn dogs and croquettes will be opening in North York this weekend.

With stores across Asia like Japan, Vietnam and Hong Kong, Arirang Hot Dog is expanding overseas with their first-ever Canadian location near Yonge and Finch. In celebration of their grand opening, they’ll be offering their products for free over the span of six days.

Starting this Saturday, they’ll be giving out 1000 hot dogs and another 1000 on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, they’ll be giving away 300 hot dogs and 300 croquettes per day, and to end off the celebration, 500 croquettes will be given out for free on Wednesday and Thursday.

Their menu consists of eight hot dogs, five of which contain beef sausage and the other three, only cheese. They come in coatings like potato and twisted bread.

Another item that’s offered is their crispy and juicy croquette. Like their hot dogs, it’s handmade and stuffed with fillings like bulgogi, red bean and kimchi.

Arirang Hot Dog is located at 5 Byng Avenue. They’ll be sharing the space with Busan Fish Cake, which will open at a later date.
