After two years at its location at Market 707, Toronto's first shipping container market, Little Sister Baking is closing its doors permanently.
Little Sister Baking's last day will be December 17.
The Indian fusion micro-bakery run by sisters Akash and Tanvi Swar announced its final days on Instagram.
Akash is a Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef, while Tanvi has brought her experience as an advertising professional to their unique concept.
"Dear Toronto, after [two] wonderful years of feeding you, meeting you, loving you, we will be permanently closing on December 17th," reads the post.
"This will be the last day to get our treats. We'll keep making Chicken and Samosa Puffs and Ras Malai cakes right up until our last day."
Little Sister Baking found success through its unique treats, such as its famous Rasmalai Tres Leches, and Samosa Puffs. Recently, it launched a special Diwali menu complete with Pineapple Sooji Halwa Cake, Gulab Jamun Cake and Lonavla Chocolate Kaju Fudge Cake.
"It's been a whirlwind [two] years," the Instagram post continues.
"We've learned so much about ourselves, about business, about this city, about people and cooking in these [two] years. It's a bittersweet end to this amazing, incredible, exciting, crazy journey we've been on, but it's time for us to say goodbye and see you around this wonderful little city that feels like a community."
Little Sister Baking will remain open from Wednesday to Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m. until December 17, at 707 Dundas Street West.
