Cold Tea Bar and Nuoc Mam Toronto are hosting a BBQ this weekend

Cold Tea Bar is teaming up with the newest pop-up on the block, Nuoc Mam Toronto, to host a Viet-style BBQ this Sunday, August 16.

Nuoc Mam Toronto is the latest venture of Chef Philip Nguyen and Brian Nguyen, whose vision is to bring casual and authentic Vietnamese street food to Toronto. The pop-up made their debut last week at Maderas Cafe, hosting a sell-out event, with lines forming around the College and Ossington block.

This week, they're making a comeback and hosting a patio cookout with the widely popular urban dive bar, Cold Tea.

Nuoc Mam Toronto will be serving up authentic Vietnamese street eats, including spring rolls, glazed pork sausages, deep-fried shrimp on sugarcane and charcoal-grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves. Also featured on the menu are vermicelli bowls and vegan tofu fresh rolls.

Cold Tea Bar will be servicing all drinks for the event and is currently accepting cash-only.

The pop-up event will be offering both takeout and patio dine-in service; however, seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The duo will be slinging some good food and good vibes from noon until late this Sunday at 1186 Queen Street West -- it's an event you won't want to miss.
