Florette will host next Slow Jams pop-up by chef Jeremy Saluma

The first Slow Jams pop-up of the new year will be hosted at Florette on Queen St. W at the end of this week.

Jeremy Saluma is best known as the former chef of Cava and Little Sister in Toronto. His latest culinary endeavour, Slow Jams, has become a beloved Filipino style pop-up in the city. For five days only at Florette restaurant (1168 Queen St. W) customers can enjoy a sharing-style menu, which is inspired by flavours from Saluma’s childhood.

From Jan. 18 to 22, Chef Saluma’s menu will be served alongside Florette’s cocktail and beverage program. The eight-item menu will feature Filipino dishes such as eggplant adobo, pinoy fried chicken, ginataang mussels and lechon manok to name a few. Prepared with Chef Saluma’s personal twist, these dishes are a unique take on Filipino cuisine which has gained popularity in the Toronto food scene.

Reservations are available through the Florette website. Bookings can be made for Jan 18 to 22 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Keep an eye on their Instagram @slowjams.to for future pop-up collaboration announcements.
