Let's Do Summer is Toronto's newest patio pop-up

From the folks who brought you Fallen Leaves and Sweaters & Snowflakes, Let's Do Summer is a new patio pop-up experience with live music, photo ops, innovative eats, a wine bar and more, located at the corner of Bathurst and Richmond Streets.

Whether on a night out with friends or on a date, this pop-up experience is loaded with everything you need for an unforgettable night of fun. The outdoor space is decked out with pink flowers, picnic tables, amber lights, fire pits and turf covered walls, boasting the ultimate Summer garden atmosphere. Tables can seat anywhere up to six guests at a time, and food and drinks can be purchased on site, via a token system.

There are a number of unique food options to choose from, all of which compliment the patio's outdoor Summer vibes. They have a large exposed wood fire BBQ on site, which they use to cook up ribs, massive turkey legs, and Mexican street corn (which you can top with Buffalo spice, or their Trio Pasta sauce). The Miso and Summer Citrus Tacos are both hearty and noteworthy, however the Campfire Poutine (topped with marshmallows, melted chocolate, graham crackers and vanilla drizzle), is the must-try sweet and savoury dessert, excellent for devouring by the fire.

Speaking of dessert, the Summer Berry Churros are fried to perfection, and are served with fresh berries and whipped cream for dipping. If you're in the mood to cool off, dip into the Ube Sesame Soft Serve, or enjoy some fresh Pineapple juice, served in a halved pineapple!

The bar is equipped with an array of fantastic Summer cocktails, with a little something for everyone. Sip on a Spicy Watermelon Margarita, the Garden Berry Moscow Mule, or the Sparkling Grapefruit mojito for your refreshing fruity fix. The Spiked Lavender Lemonade also comes highly recommended, or you can feel free to add a shot of booze to any of their fresh pressed juices from the outdoor kitchen.

They are also offering a selection of classic brews, in addition to rotating craft beers inspired by Summertime. If beer isn't your thing, have a look at their rotating list of white and red wines from regions around the world including California, France, Italy, Spain, Argentina and, of course, Ontario.

The pop-up hosts live music nightly, and feature upbeat DJ sets, jazz vibes and cover bands. They are even offering wine tastings (where you can try four different types of wine), as well as date night flower pot painting, so you can get creative and paint some pots while you take it all in. They even supply the soil and some seeds, so you can bring home your new creations and watch your plant friends come to life.

The pop-up is set to run every night until around August 16, and they will be hosting a number of exclusive events before then (including two drag shows, featuring local drag queens), set to take place on August 13 and 14. For larger groups and corporate events, you can book the entire space for socially distanced special occasions, celebrations and engagements.

Let's Do Summer is located at 621 Richmond Street West, and is open 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday. Though walk-ins are accepted, the best way to secure your reservations and activities, is to book in advance on their website. Tables for activities are sold ahead of time in groups of four or six, so make sure you reserve with the whole gang in mind, so you can snap some group shots at their photo-op featuring a 7-foot tractor tire.

Be sure to check them out on Instagram where they will continue to post event and ticket information, along with news regarding their upcoming wine and cocktail festival, set to take place at the same venue from August 20 to the 22.
