Local craft brewery announces impressive plans for brewpub near Sugar Beach

Great Lakes Brewery has been brewing delicious beer for more than 30 years. They are one of the major pioneers of the ever-popular craft beer movement in Ontario. If you ever visit their brewery in Etobicoke, you’ll quickly understand the passion they bring to the table for fine brews and community togetherness.

President and owner Peter Bulut is excited to bring his passion and 30-plus years of brewing experience to a new community for the first time. The GLB Brewpub will occupy a large space at Lower Jarvis Street and Queens Quay. The 6000 square-foot spot will boast two patios, seating for 120 guests and a large retail space.

Twenty taps are to be complimented with a full menu that aims to enhance your brewpub experience. Bulut's vision is to create a community hub where friends, family, locals and tourists can enjoy the fruits of his labour and top-notch food. Right across from Sugar Beach and the Toronto Bike Path, this will be a hotspot for a cool refreshment, and is a much needed go-to spot for the East Bayfront community.
