One of Etobicoke's best pizza spots opens new Toronto location

F.B.I. Pizza, which stands for Full Blooded Italian Pizza, just opened their second location at St. Clair Avenue and Dufferin Road in the Corso Italia neighbourhood of Toronto.

From the minds of Queen Margherita Pizza in Leslieville, F.B.I. Pizza was established back in 2011 in the growing community of Mimico in Etobicoke. After years of serving their pizza in the neighbourhood, they opened a location in Woodbridge before unfortunately closing down soon after. Their new location in Corso Italia becomes only their second in the city.

They are most popular for their classic pies that are made with 00 Caputo pizza flour and true San Marzano DOP tomatoes. The recipes all stem from Naples and their pies are cooked in an electric oven instead of a traditional wood-burning oven, which accounts for their signature F.B.I. flavour.

They do a wide range of classics, like Margheritas, Calabrese, and an iconic NYC-style cheese slice. They also have some chef-inspired creations, like the Bombo Pazza, which consists of Calabrese cacciatore and hot pepperoncini, finished with hot chili-infused organic honey. The La Porchetta is a pie topped with slow-roasted porchetta, sautéed mushrooms and peppers with goat cheese. Along with their pizzas, they also do panzerottis, sandwiches and a variety of salads too.

F.B.I. Pizza is located at 1248 St. Clair Avenue West. Their soft opening hours are subject to change, but they are currently running from 11 a.m. until sold out every day of the week. They are also doing pizza and beer specials currently for the opening, so be sure to check them out if you’re in the area.
