Popular spot for Korean hot dogs opening new location in Scarborough

The most popular Korean Rice Dogs in Toronto are building on their empire with another location.

Chungchun Rice Dogs has only been open for just over a year and have already been expanding like crazy across Canada. Their latest outpost will be opening near Finch and Midland Avenues in Scarborough on March 12.

This will mark their fourth location in the Toronto area and the sixth location in Canada as a whole, with two locations in Vancouver and Montreal.

Known for their Korean street food, Chungchun's hot dogs are battered in rice flour that make it incredibly chewy. They can also be stuffed with cheese and a variety of toppings and sauces. They will be showcasing many new menu items as well, such as a Chocolate Dessert Dog and a Veggie Hot Dog, using the plant-based Field Roast company.

The grand opening will have a $2.99 promotion for one day only with a limit of two per person. The new Scarborough location is propped up at 3250 Midland Avenue. Hours have yet to be announced, but be sure to follow their Instagram page for more information.
