One of Toronto's most popular coffee and cocktail brands has finally opened its doors at their newest location.
Boxcar Social soft opened inside the lobby of the Waverley at College Street and Spadina Avenue. This marks the brand's fifth location, which already has locations and bottle shops in Summerhill, Riverside and at the Harbourfront.
Known not only for their coffee, Boxcar Social has manifested its brand into a cocktail and wine club and general store with presence across the city. This new location has an impressive array of options from espresso-based coffees and other classic offerings, with rotating guest roasters, as is customary of all their other locations. They will also be serving fresh pastries to pair with the coffee for anyone looking for a quick one stop shop.
The interior is stunning as there is a sleek modern bar counter at the foot of an elegant staircase. Behind the counter is a massive two-storey, custom mural that captures the attention of anyone in the room waiting for their coffee.
Boxcar Social is located inside the Waverley at 484 Spadina Avenue. Their soft opening hours will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. They’ll be serving coffee from local micro-roaster Subtext Coffee Roasters, and will look to rotate to include more options in the future as well. This location won't be their last, as they are planning more in the future, including a location in Palmerston set to launch later this year.
