Rendezviews, Toronto's biggest outdoor picnic is now open

Skip the picnic basket, because Toronto's Entertainment District now boasts the city's largest outdoor patio. Rendezviews, hosted by The Fifth Social Club and The Ballroom, has transformed the private parking lot on Richmond Street and John Street into an epic picnic-inspired patio space -- red and white checkered blankets and all!

The dormant parking structure, which was set to be a park, now hosts a 28,300 square foot patio with 80 picnic tables and can accommodate up to 480 people.

The tables, seating up to 6 people, are all spaced 8 feet apart to ensure social distancing.

To minimize contact and high touch points, Rendezviews is operating on a token system. Tokens are $10.50 each with tax and gratuity already included to ensure a safe, cashless transaction.

There are two bars and two beer tents where guests can redeem their tokens for anything from Tito's Lemonade, Bacardi Rum Punch and Martini Fiero spritz, to ready-to-drink cans and tallboy beers!

The food menu rotates daily but mostly features light pub fare, including wings, burgers, fish and chips and citrus salads.

The menu can be accessed through your phone by scanning a QR code on the table. Most of the drinks cost one token, while food is around two tokens.

Rendezviews is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. on, weather dependent and can be found at 229 Richmond Street West.
