The beloved chicken and waffles spot announced a new expansion plan in Mississauga, and it will be their biggest one yet.

The Dirty Bird has been a spectacle of the Kensington Market neighbourhood since opening in 2015. The restaurant has since expanded across the city to a spot on the York University campus and even an “express” version in Terminal 1 at Toronto-Pearson International Airport. Their latest expansion takes them to the Battleford Centre in Mississauga.

The new outpost will feature the same menu to start, but they also plan on offering ice cream, kids meals, a spicy chicken option and a sit-down dining area. It will also be the restaurant’s largest location.

The Dirty Bird’s Mississauga branch is expected to open on March 1 and is located at 6415 Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga.
