Tim Hortons now offering non-dairy milk across Canada

At long last, the news that vegan and non-dairy-eating Tim's fans have been waiting for: Tim Hortons just announced the rollout of almond milk at all of their Canadian locations, so you can sip your favourite beverages cow-free!

The massively popular and quintessentially Canadian chain has finally responded to guest feedback and requests for milk alternatives, as they've seemingly been one of the few coffee shops left that is still lacking in the non-dairy beverage department. But that all changes now. Their team performed guest research to determine almond milk as the best choice to offer, considering that it was the most requested milk alternative by Canadians. With the plethora of almond milk products on the market these days, Tim's had many to choose from, but ending up landing on a partnership with Danone to serve Silk Almond Beverage at their restaurants. Not only does it have a pleasant taste and texture, it's also free from dairy, lactose, soy and gluten, plus it's fortified with vitamins and minerals for that nutrient kick.

The best part of this big step into the world of plant-based alternatives? Tim Hortons will not be charging extra for the addition of almond milk to brewed coffee or tea beverages. For specialty and espresso-based drinks, the extra cost will vary by region. So get excited to savour that morning coffee, latte or Iced Capp without the dairy!
