Toronto is getting the ultimate outdoor food experience this summer

Are you looking for something to do this August long weekend -- while social distancing, of course? You’re in luck because Toronto will be getting a social distance outdoor food experience like no other.

The Kiss Me pop-up -- located at the southwest corner of Bathurst and Richmond -- has completely transformed what used to be The Football Factory and has divided the space into three parts. The once Football Factory now includes an ice cream pop-up, a licensed outdoor patio and a food market featuring a variety of vegetarian options.

The Kiss Me pop-up will showcase outrageous eats such as Buttery Beer soft serve, s’mores cocktails and ginger duck wings. Attendees can enjoy a ten-foot wood fire BBQ pit, three patios and two bars, including a tiki bar, all while enjoying views of the CN tower! The event is sure to attract quite a few people. Still, strict safety measures and physical distancing protocols will be maintained, including wearing a mask by both guests and employees, sanitization stations with surfaces being wiped and sanitized frequently, a limit of the number of people allowed in and more.

You can enjoy the food to go, or if you’d like, at one of their picnic tables spread six feet apart. Food items offered include your typical corn dogs, poutine and mac and cheese, and unique offerings such as bison bites, fried candy bars, coconut avocado soft serve and gator bites.

The pop-up opens July 31 and runs until August 9. You don’t want to miss out!
