Toronto's favourite burger pop-up is finally opening a storefront

The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived, Toronto smash burger pop-up, Burger Drops is finally opening a drop shop!

What started as a small, family-run alleyway pop-up in 2018 has evolved into a city-wide burger frenzy. With over 3000 burgers dropped to date, Burger Drops is arguably one of Toronto's best smash burgers.

The pop-up is known for its juicy chuck patties, griddled sweet onions and signature Drops sauce. The Toronto-bred pop-up was featured on Off the Menu's Burger Showdown and collaborated with the Godfather of America's cheeseburgers, George Motz.

Since May, Burger Drops made light of a global pandemic with burger therapy and served up smiles and smash burgers on sidewalks all lockdown long. Burger devotees followed the beloved pop-up across Toronto as they moved locations week after week.

After taking some time off, brother chefs Greg and Christos Bourolias are coming back bigger and better than ever with new menu items and a new home, where smash burger enthusiasts can get the ultimate Burger Drops experience.

Burger Drops is setting up shop at 116 Atlantic Avenue in Liberty Village. Although an official opening date is yet to be announced, the team has been teasing the restaurant opening on their Instagram page.

Stay tuned, burger fiends, the time is near!
