Opening on June 10th, The Pearl is Muskoka's newest spot for cottage must-haves, from gourmet provisions and sumptuous snacks, to craft beverages and more. The latest venture from TOBEN Hospitality Group, The Pearl is an urban-meets-country gourmet food market and snack bar poised to make this summer in Cottage Country the most delicious yet. Founded in 2005 by chef Toben Kochman and his sister Elana, TOBEN Hospitality Group is one of the city's leading high-end, full-service catering and event management companies. Together with Ryan Feldman, the duo created The Pearl as a way to bring TOBEN's luxe local fare to a wider audience. The 1000-square-foot indoor market features a rotating selection of seasonal, ready-to-eat sandwiches, salads and sides. From pastas and pizzas, to assorted breads, pastries and desserts, The Pearl also offers plenty of options for those looking to fill their cottage fridge with dishes everyone can enjoy. With shelves stocked with pantry provisions sourced from local suppliers, guests will also find everything they need — from snacks and candies, to local beer, wine, sauces and more — to host gatherings of every size. At The Pearl, "people can order gourmet food for group entertaining, grab a fresh bite on their way up to the cottage, and enjoy a night out with family and friends,” said Elana Kochman, in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming guests at The Pearl throughout the summer and beyond.” The Pearl is located at 3047 Muskoka Road 169 in Bala, Ontario.
