What’s better than weekend brunch? Weekend brunch and live bluegrass music.

After a small hiatus, The Dakota Tavern is bringing back one of the city’s most popular brunch events. Now you can enjoy endless scrambled eggs, fluffy pancakes and crispy home fries with your coffee (or cocktails) to the smooth sounds of live bluegrass music in the institution that is The Dakota Tavern.

This is the ideal spot for a birthday with friends, a family outing or just celebrating Sunday Funday the right way. The menu boasts your breakfast classics like eggs benedict but also creative versions of fried potatoes topped with things like poached eggs and smokey brava sauce, bourbon chicken and waffles and huevos rancheros.

They don't skimp on brunch cocktails either. They have great local Junction Brewing beers and if you like mimosas or fruity cocktails, be sure to try the breakfast mule -- a mixture of vodka, ginger beer, grapefruit and lime.

The Dakota Tavern

This popular Ossington spot is known for bringing in amazing musical talent. This brunch event is no exception.

The event runs from 10 AM - 2 PM and often by the end it’s one big family-friendly dance party.
