Since the two joined forces on Queen Street West, Fugo Desserts (home of the Cookie Monster Ice Cream) and Makan have been offering delivery pop-ups with the best of both worlds: Asian fusion cuisine with specialty ice cream and donuts. This holiday, they’ll be doing door-to-door deliveries for all their signature items in time for your celebrations on December 24 and January 31. Unlike their first holiday delivery on December 18, these remaining pop-up dates will cover all delivery zones in the GTA.
For the team at Makan, it was “a match made in heaven for this collaboration to take place.” Expect the best of their menu this year with your choice of Baos, Nasi Lemak Platters, Rendang Beef, Singapore Cream Chicken, Korean Spicy Pork, Vietnamese Grilled Chicken and more.
Makan's frozen meat packs and DIY Bao kits are also available to be delivered along with your meal, and keep an eye out for more variations of their frozen meals in 2022.
After you’ve decided on the main courses, you can complete your holiday feast with Fugo’s specialty donuts, cheese tarts and ice cream pints. If you’re feeling creative, their DIY Mini Donut Kit will buy you enough time to digest before moving on to the grand finale of dessert.
Orders are still open right now, but they’ll be closing down delivery zones once capacities have been reached. Everything will be delivered between 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. for both dates and delivery is free for orders over $35 (a $10 flat fee will apply otherwise).
