Satisfy your sweet tooth with Creamery X

Creamery X now has an official kitchen of their own on 124 Jarvis Street that is open for ice cream pickups.

Specializing in small batches of frozen custard and vegan ice cream, the founders, Bonnie Gallant and Melissa Baird, hand-make all of their products. The creation of Creamery X was inspired by a combination of Bonnie's love for ice cream and Melissa's passion for baking.

Creamery X rotates through a new and unique catalogue of flavours each week. They are currently offering Coconut Cream Pie (vegan), Fig & Lemon Goat Cheese, Hipster Butterscotch, Mom's Bourbon Butter Tart, Carrot Cake, Brown Butter Coffee and more! They also just recently launched their ice cream squares.

Opening a new business during a pandemic comes with its own set of challenges, but Bonnie and Melissa believe that "every season is ice cream season." By inventing bold flavours, committing to quality standards, partnering with other local businesses to source their ingredients, and creating compostable packaging, Creamery X goes above and beyond any ordinary ice cream store.

Pint orders are open from Monday to Friday, and both pickup and delivery options are available. Pickup takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday at their Jarvis Street location, and deliveries will arrive between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.

New vegan flavour, The Elvis combines fresh banana ice cream with a peanut butter ripple and a dark chocolate sourdough crunch, with sourdough provided by Bonnie’s Bread Co.

If some of your favourite flavours are already sold out, their products are also sold on Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes and at the Flamingo Market, which is an online marketplace for LGBTQ2SIA+ artists and entrepreneurs.

Creamery X products sell out just as quickly as ice cream melts on a hot day, so make sure you get your hands on some of their icy treats this upcoming Monday!
