Sundays Dumplings is dropping more of their delicious and exclusive dumplings next week

The weekend is finally here, and this Toronto company believes it would be best spent with your loved ones over a pack of dumplings.

Sundays Dumplings is a modern take on traditional Chinese food. They use locally-sourced ingredients to create healthy and nourishing dumplings to disprove the perception that Chinese cuisine is greasy and heavy.

Their dumplings come in packs of 12, and they currently offer three flavours. The first is Firecracker, which is a sweet, smokey and spicy chicken dumpling. Next up is the Traditional, which contains pork, ginger, chives, and a variety of other savoury elements. The last option is a melody of cremini mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, napa cabbage, carrots, onions and garlic, called the Rooted dumpling.

Sundays Dumplings launched just over a month ago and was created with the intention of delivering 'love and gratitude in one bite-sized package.' In Chinese culture, food is an expression of love, and a common family activity is preparing dumplings. Most of this family time takes place on Sundays, which is usually seen as a day to relax and spend time with our loved ones. Therefore, the name 'Sundays Dumplings' stems from the idea that on Sundays we relax, recharge, and catch up with those we care about, and what better way to spend a Sunday than enjoying homemade dumplings?

From their dumplings to their packaging, everything about Sundays screams aesthetically pleasing. Their Instagram is guaranteed to catch your eye with its Pinterest-themed layout, and the simplistic, yet modern packaging perfectly encompasses their idea of incorporating a modern touch into a traditional technique.

Their next drop is on Sunday, May 23 at 12 p.m. There are limited quantities available so make sure you get your hands on some of their delicious dumplings before they sell out. Orders can be made through their website, which also provide steps on how to properly pan fry the dumplings.
