You can't stop Good Behaviour from taking over Toronto with ice cream and subs

We’re not surprised that Good Behaviour is now opening a second location, because they have some of the most amazing ice cream in the city, with flavour profiles you can’t get anywhere else. Good Behaviour isn’t your corner shop ice cream; Chefs Michael and Eric conceptualized combining sophisticated techniques and innovative flavours from their restaurant background (most notably, Ascari) with the happiness and nostalgia a traditional cup of ice cream brings.

Good Behaviour has come a long way from rapid pop-ups; the brand has a lot more recognition now, so they can afford to host longer-term in full kitchens. Their newest spot, located indefinitely at the lively intersection of Yonge and Church, is here to stay. You may recognize the location as once being Fat Lamb, who are pivoting their offerings and working on new projects.

Good Behaviour does have full brand control of the space, and Michael and Eric (who are running between locations on the daily) wanted it to be similar to the West Moreland location; they still sell subs, ice cream, sides, and drinks, and maintain the same aesthetics (including the photogenic chalkboard menu). The only thing they couldn't fit was the Treat Yourself corner, but a scoop of their Strawberry Balsamic is a treat enough.

Although they are still in soft-opening mode, the response has been overwhelming (and with such a high-traffic location and the warmth of summer on the horizon, who could blame Torontonians for wanting to get their ice cream fix). The Yonge Street location recently matched the West Moreland hours of 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., seven days a week, and soon they'll be extending their hours for the summer.

If you're not in the mood to get fresh scoops in store, they also sell pints they don't always do by the scoop online (some notable ice cream flavours include Honey Nut Cereal, Matcha Cookies & Cream, HK Milk Tea, and my personal favourite, Earl Grey (patiently waiting for this one to stop being sold-out)). They have a 4 pints for $40 deal on right now, so you can get ALL your favourites. However, you'll miss out on their Spicy Meatball hot sub (veal, pork & beef meatballs, provolone, fresh basil, basil pesto mayo, chili oil) or their Classic cold sub (soppressata, genoa salami, mortadella, prosciutto di parma, prosciutto cotto, provolone, giardiniera, iceberg lettuce).

Restaurant life is fast in general, but Good Behaviour's popularity amongst sandwich and ice cream lovers is moving them at high speeds. Make sure to follow their Instagram for many exciting top secret projects coming our way (hint, Harbourfront...)!
