Looking for the best patios to reconvene your weekly brunch outing in Toronto? Well, we've got you covered, as the city is littered with chefs who are once again dishing out beloved sweet and savoury brunch staples.
Brunch is an integral part of Toronto's food scene and the weekend ritual has been fervently missed these past three months. Now that Toronto has finally entered Stage 2 and patios have opened, diners will be able to once again, enjoy meals on Toronto's many patios. On these newly reopened patios, you can enjoy pancakes stacked high and smothered in seasonal summer fruits, mimosas with freshly squeezed orange juice, spicy caesars and delicious eggs Benedicts.
The Ontario government is allowing restaurants and bars to temporarily extend outdoor patio spaces to safely accommodate patrons and staff. This decision supports hospitality sector workers and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, including many of Toronto's beloved restaurants. By extending outdoor patio spaces, the hope is that establishments get back on their feet faster.
As a result of the regulation change, licensed establishments are able to create patios adjacent to their premise or increase the size of their pre-existing patios. This means that your favourite brunch restaurant may be getting a revamping and are ready to seat customers. This is a compilation of patios in the city you can grab brunch from. Remember if you are enjoying the nice weather and a meal outdoors don't forget to follow the social distancing rules, sanitize often and wash hands when you get a chance.
