These noodles are SPICY, though you can definitely reduce the heat by adding fewer chili flakes. Meanwhile, if you think that you can handle more heat, feel free to add more chili flakes or cayenne pepper.
This recipe is totally adjustable; that's why I call it comfort food. You can basically use any kind of noodles that you have in hand. You can replace parsley with cilantro and omit the cumin seeds if you don't have any.
Refrigerate noodles in an airtight container for up to three days and reheat before serving.
Chili Oil Noodles 5 Steps
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
In a medium saucepan, heat oil until simmering/sizzling, not boiling.
In a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients.
Pour the oil into the bowl over herbs and spice mixture. Mix to combine.
Stir in noodles and toss to coat. Serve immediately and enjoy!
